Veterinary Park Potomac

I recently had to make the incredibly difficult decision to say goodbye to my beloved dog, Taz. It was one of the hardest moments my family and I have ever faced. During this time, Katie and Kathy showed exceptional compassion, professionalism, and care. They handled the situation with such sensitivity, clearly explaining everything while also giving us the space and time we needed to say our goodbyes without feeling rushed or pressured. Their kindness and understanding made an unbearable situation just a little more manageable, and I am truly grateful for the support they provided during such a painful moment. I highly recommend their care to anyone who wants a veterinary team that treats both pets and their families with dignity, empathy, and respect.

Great place for pets, staff is very thoughtful and well prepared to care for your pet. My cat is very timid and scared when he goes to public, but park Potomac vet has an individual approach by prepping the cat for the appointment, making him relaxed.. my cat is a foody and they have a special treat for him to make him loved and cared for!picture shows Mishka anticipating his appt

We have only had 1 appointment with the staff, but are already totally impressed with the care provided! We have had multiple pets and been to multiple Veterinary services from primary care to emergency services and the best impression by far has been our first appointment with Veterinary Park Potomac. We look forward to a long association with the staff and services.

I’ve been taking my dog, Charlie, to Veterinary Park Potomac for almost 3 years now. Charlie’s been seen for many reasons — got stung by a wasp, injured his leg, colitis, ear infections, he even had 2 scheduled surgeries in this clinic.. each visit was a breeze, their actions very intentional, and the staff afforded me thorough discussions to make sure I know exactly what is happening and what to expect. I never felt rushed even though I could see how busy they were. Charlie never developed a fear of the vet because of the wonderful care they give him. They also always made sure to do a follow up call a day or two after the visit to see if their interventions are working or if they need to revise the plan of care. I trust this vet so much I pulled our family dog out of his vet of 5 years to move to this vet even though my family lives an hour away.

Dr. Monica is the best veterinarian ever! She is knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly cares about her patients. She always takes the time to explain things clearly and makes both pets and owners feel comfortable. We are so grateful for her exceptional care and highly recommend her!

We have only brought our dog to VPP for around a year - we are moving and are so sad to leave such an amazing veterinary clinic. I don't often leave reviews, but when I tell you this is the best vet we have been to for our girl, I really mean it. Previously to the last month, our dog has been really healthy and VPP staff still spent significant time with us, talking through our questions and making great recommendations. They listen to your concerns, are very upfront about pricing, and both the vets and their support staff have so much knowledge, compassion, and expertise. They send a thorough discharge summary each time we see them, and always make Rosie feel happy and comfortable. We have seen all three doctors in the clinic and all of them have been fantastic, so it is really comforting to know that when we need an appointment on short notice, we will always be in good hands. Rosie had some more intense needs in the last week, and the team couldn't have been more helpful in getting her on her way to feeling better - they squeezed us in when I brought her to them in a panic yesterday, hospitalized her for the day so that she could be on an IV to get the medication she needed and were so sweet to send pictures and updates on how she was doing. While she is not 100% herself yet, today is the first time I have seen her feeling comfortable in over a week. If we were staying, I would never go anywhere else!

This has to be one of the best vets I have ever been to. To start, the staff is phenomenal. You can tell they genuinely care about your pets and they actively listen to your concerns. Their communication skills are truly top tier as well. One of my kitties had dental surgery here, and a couple weeks later had developed cystitis. I took my baby to an ER and they sent the records over to Veterinary Park Potomac. I had Dr. Kara email me to check in on her the next day. This is the type of care I want for my animals and this is just the place to receive it. I did a lot of web surfing to find the right place to take my animals and I am really glad I decided to come here. If you want high quality care for your fur babies, take them here! I begin taking my cat here for regular appointments and visits by need. The staff is always responsive, professional and helpful with questions. The visiting areas and rooms are always clean. The doctors are super friendly and very good with cats. I love how attentive they are to her personality. Follow ups are always clear and detailed. Would totally recommend

I just want to compliment this amazing group of people. This is the very first time I have been with a Veterinarian and team that is very compassionate, committed and competent. Dr. Calderon and Megan and the whole team is very friendly, easy to talk to and explained everything very well. I am so happy we have Biaco and Clio under your excellent care 💕

By far the best vet I’ve ever taken my dogs to. Everyone makes sure we’re well taken care of. Rachel and Ambar always go the extra mile at the front desk to keep us informed and in communication, and both of my dogs get so excited whenever they see Keirsten! She always makes it feel like more than just a vet office. Thank you, VPP, for creating such a caring and welcoming environment for pets and their people
