Wowww! Some of the best wine in northern Michigan but better yet the absolute BEST customer service I’ve ever received from a winery. Jan took the time to find out what kind of wines we normally enjoyed and was so knowledgeable in all the wines available, she was able to recommend wines we’d all love with a variety of tastebuds. We loved this wine so much we got back to our room and couldn’t stop thinking about the wine and the service so we grabbed a couple bottles to drink for the weekend. Thanks so much!!!

We’ve visited Verterra Winery in the Leelanau Peninsula multiple times in the summer, and it has quickly become one of our favorites! The wine is fantastic—we especially love their sweet white wines. We’ve been to both the tasting room and the vineyard, and both offer such a great experience. The vineyard is absolutely beautiful, especially with its stunning views of the lake. The staff is friendly and welcoming, which makes the visit even better. If you’re a wine lover exploring the Leelanau Peninsula, Verterra is definitely a must-stop for delicious wine and a memorable experience!

Sara and Jan made our visit very pleasant. Learned a lot about the winery and the wines . No doubt Verterra wines were the best of the day. I recommend a visit to Verterra for any wine enthusiast that wants an enjoyable tasting.

Verterra Winery is our go-to place for great wines. Both reds and whites and exceptional, and their Tundra Ice Wine is just flat out amazing. The tasting room is relaxed and inviting, the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and make you feel at home. We have also attended special events at their Ridge venue, enjoying the first-class facilities and world-class views. Verterra just knows how to do it right.

This is a great little spot in Leland. The Chaos Ciders are very good! They suggested i try mixing their Blackberry with the lemonade and it was awesome. A perfect summer/fall drink! We bought a bunch to bring home. One thing to consider is a better method of serving cider, sometimes they taste as though the cans have been left open in the cooler too long. Thank you

Basically they’ll make you try the entire lineup for free until you buy a bottle. But honestly bring a truck you’re gonna leave with a LOT of bottles

Person who waited on us was not interested is serving the two of us. Concentrated on another couple. So much that a different server asked if she should take care of us. He declined, then he lost count to 3 for our tastings and so he short-poured an already small tasting. Disappointed, won't be back.

Four of us went there today on a friend's recommendation & Greg was absolutely Wonderful! Very informative & attentive. Told us about each wine & how they differed, etc. The BEST customer service we experienced in the Traverse City area!
