So this happened on 11th September. 🤯 Vertaproof won the Checkatrade Awards 2025 South Regional Sustainability Champion. I was on holiday in Corfu so couldn't accept the awards, however my close friend Callum stepped in to accept the award on my behalf.
In addition to the award, checkatrade wrote to my local MP and they subsequently sent me a letter of support.
I am now automatically through to the national finals at Wembley Stadium in November. Even if nothing comes from that, it's still an honour to have got this far.
As I've said several times before and I'll say it over and over again. My true appreciation goes to all of those that support me, to make things like this happen.
Thank you. All of you. I will continue to serve and stay humble, but on this occasion, I'm taking the win. It's a reflection of my hard work and to realise how far I've come . Never undervalue what growth you achieve when looking back, be it for your professional or personal life, it offers perspective.
