"A successful man is one who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks others have thrown at him." - David Brinkley
A few proofing jobs completed this week:
1. Squirrels got in a loft space via a gap under the ridge tile. Squirrels caught and then repairs carried out to stop them in future
2. Rats burrowing under shallow concrete. Trench dug out alongside the foundations and then the client let me use all of his leftover bricks and roof tiles to block it up.
3. Rats taking advantage of a gap between the two extensions, which is remarkably common. Concrete install on the ground and an aluminium plate fitted to prevent entry.
I've made my success on proofing. It's what I do.
This approach eliminates the need for pesticides and offers long term results. Anyone can put bait or a trap down, that's easy... But growth never came from doing something that's easy.
Take the path less travelled, you'll be a better person for it.
