An early morning call-out to a domestic property in the Chapel Allerton area of Leeds, where a pigeon had unfortunately become trapped behind a gas fire.
We successfully removed the deceased pigeon, carried out appropriate hygiene measures, and eliminated any associated health risks to the property.
We have now advised a full chimney sweep to remove any remaining debris, along with the installation of a chimney cowl to prevent further bird ingress in the future.
