During a recent inspection, we discovered an active wasp inside an old, derelict nestโsomething rarely seen in the field.
Itโs commonly understood that wasps do not reuse old nests, making this an unusual and noteworthy case.
๐นIn addition to this, we also treated a second active nest located in the corner of the same loft space.
๐นTypically, wasps are highly territorial, and itโs unusual to find multiple active nests operating in such close proximity.
Both nests have now been professionally treated and removed for the safety of the occupants.
