When our client started to hear strange noises in there celling void they didn’t imagine that the rats could & had been using this old extractor fan.
After ripping the ivy down, we noticed that the rats had been using the ivy to gain access freely to their advantage.
Our train technician located two more ingress points which were found on the main roof where the rats had also been using.
Moving forward we’ve now proofed this extractor & advised on getting the roofer to assess the damage on what needs to be done to stop the rats gaining entry, the ivy has now been fully pull down & disposed of accordingly.
