This morning we attended a domestic property in the Brighouse area following reports of rodents gaining entry to the kitchen cupboards along with gnawing cleaning products under the kitchen sink.
On inspection, we identified multiple hidden ingress points within the foundations of the proerty, allowing the rodents to travel directly into the kitchen unnoticed. Clear paw prints & smear marks were present along the kickboards, with disturbed food confirming ongoing activity inside the property we established this was rat activity rather then mice.
What weโve done:
โน๏ธ Weโve now placed rat traps along active run routes within the kitchen
โน๏ธLocated the hidden access point & advised on necessary proofing
โน๏ธWeโll return on the second visit to carry out the proofing works & continue trapping to eliminate any remaining activity.
Hidden entry points like this are a common cause once rats gain access, kitchens quickly become a feeding ground.
