A full site survey was carried out at a domestic property in the Headingley area following reports of rat activity and tunnelling to the external of the property.
Upon inspection, a clear ingress point was identified beneath a waste pipe, where rats had burrowed under and gained access into the propertyโs foundations. A significant amount of displaced soil was noted around the entry point, indicating active and ongoing use.
Further investigation confirmed an extensive tunnel system running deep into the foundations, which presents a high risk of continued ingress and internal activity if left unresolved.
