Over the past couple of weeks, our team at VermiCure Pest Control has been tackling one of the worst German cockroach infestations we’ve seen this year inside a large 10 floors student accommodation block in Sheffield are of South Yorkshire.
The short video clip below was taken from just one flat on the fourth floor, showing the level of activity and sheer scale of the problem.
From what we’ve found, this infestation has likely been building up for many weeks – if not months, spreading between kitchens, bathrooms, and service risers.
We’ve now rolled out an intensive riddance program across the building using targeted gel baits, monitoring systems, and residual insecticides designed to wipe out every stage of the colony.
Follow-up visits are already showing a massive drop in activity, and we’ll continue until the infestation is completely eradicated.
