Earlier today, our team was called out to the Seacroft area of Leeds to investigate unusual activity around a set of outdoor waste bins. Upon inspection, we discovered a rat had managed to gnaw its way through the top of one of the waste bin & unfortunately become trapped inside.
The rat was humanely dispatched, & weโve now advised our client to replace the damaged bins as a matter of urgency. Once a rat has found a way in, others will soon follow especially if the bins offer food, warmth & shelter.
