๐งฑ๐ Rats Using the Extension Cavity as a Highway Into the Loft!
Today we attended a property in the Ossett area of Wakefield after our client reported scratching and movement sounds coming from the loft space.
During our detailed survey, we found hundreds of fresh rat droppings, heavy smear marks, and clear rat runs throughout the loft area confirming ongoing and active activity.
A full external inspection was also carried out, where we located a large ingress point on the rear extension. This should have been fully sealed during building work, and due to being left open, rats have been able to travel:

โก๏ธ Up into the cavity
โก๏ธ And finally into the loft area
We have now implemented a three-part riddance programme using a targeted trapping approach, and have provided the client with full proofing recommendations to permanently prevent further entry once activity has been eradicated.
