From the the estimate to the completed project, VB Decking made this a great experience. When going through the estimate, Victor explained the details and carefully walked us through the process. The bid was the best. The work that Victor and his crew did helped fix our deck and make it better than before. The work was quick and high quality. We will use VB Decking for our needs in the future.

We had an upper deck build off our master bedroom, including the adding of a door (where there used to be a window). It was a big job and took months to complete, but that was mostly due to the suppliers. We liked Vic from the start and that never wavered. Vic communicates very well, follows through when he says he will, has easy to comprehend documentation, there's no question how the money is spent, he is timely, professional AND the quality of work is outstanding. He worked with us on our ideas and came up with even better one's. We also appreciated that he followed the rules with permitting and that process was quick and seamless. Highly recommended! We would hire him again!

Vic and VB Decking are amazing!! I had researched over 10 different deck companies, and found that Vic was one of a kind. He is an expert at his craft, and was so patient when I asked him questions. His kindness and openness made me always feel comfortable, and I really felt that he cared about our family’s deck project, just as if he was building it for his own family. His expertise was evidenced by the detailed answers about anything related to the deck. He was never pushy but was always kind and patient. His pricing was very fair, and communicated clearly the payment plan throughout. He is genuine, honest, and he works with integrity. Once he began the work on our house, it was in no time that my parents became his number one fan. He was very respectful, and detailed in all of his work building our deck. My dad, who is an engineer, was so impressed with the way that Vic constructed the deck that he said, “This deck will last for a very long time!”. I really admire that while being the owner of the company, Vic himself is the one that builds the deck. My neighbors recently came to take a look at the new deck, and even they are impressed by the craftsmanship and detail. I have Recommended Vic to other friends who are doing their decks, and will be using him for anything deck/patio related in the future!

We were most fortunate to have VB Decking undertake our large and customized deck project which included a porch and stairs, a two-level back deck and an upper deck. Vic was personable, professional and a real craftsman. Both easy-going and attentive to detail, he readily undertook design modifications and special requests as they emerged. Enclosing speaker wires in a metal chase is one example. It was a great benefit that the company owner was on-site building the deck rather than having a layer or two of managers to approve and estimate the costs of "change orders". VB Decking is very knowledgeable and versatile, e.g, able to handle steel framing and welding. They have my wholehearted endorsement.

I highly recommend VB Decking to anyone who is in the market! Victor is above and beyond amazing. Let me start by saying that I extensively researched at least 20 deck contractors in our area. VB decking won by a landslide. Our old, 9 ft high deck was rotting to pieces and needed to be fully replaced. We wanted to replace it with something sturdy, low maintenance, and built to last. We wanted to use composite decking, metal railing and LVL framing. Victor was patient/not pushy as we were researching decking companies and best practices. We really liked that he had a website and had his payment plan laid out ahead of time. His pricing is more than fair, especially compared to other contractors in the area. He provided an informative breakdown of the costs. I looked him up and he is registered with the city where we live. He maintained a very friendly and professional relationship while working with us. He maintained communication for every step of the process. He listened to what our needs were and gave his recommendations. The deck itself looks beautiful, is extremely sturdy, and is built to last. He made sure the inspectors came at every required point in the process and followed any legalities that were required. Before choosing him, we researched the references online, but also asked him for more, which he provided. All references came back extremely positive. He made it known that the materials we chose have warranties available, and helped us gain access to the warranties. Any extra work needed was communicated adequately (some of our siding under the old deck was completely rotten and needed to be repaired). We were not in a rush to have our deck completed, but he was timely with his work, and communicated realistic time frame expectations. He is the owner of his company and the one building the deck, which I find valuable for work quality and communication purposes. I can't say enough good things!

VB Decking and its owner Vic was the best home improvement contractor I have ever hired. And I have done numerous home improvement projects projects over the years. They took down my old deck and created a new weather f proof deck for us. This project was difficult as it included tearing down and rebuilding three rock columns. This company was efficient, kept the area clean, cost effective and the best communication during the project that anyone could expect. I would recommend VB Decking to anyone who needs a project for a new deck or any other outside work.
