Installation of modern technology in a Vintage 7 story building on East 56th St in Hyde Park. We drained down and disconnected a 1000 gallon tank in the elevator
penthouse. The tank was feed by a small pump here in the basement and was connected to the buildings water supply. The weight of the water in the tank is what pressurized the system so the apartments on the seventh floor had water pressure.
We installed a 5HP variable speed booster pump system to replace the tank which has better control over the pressure in the building, very energy efficient and way more sanitary.
