Board-certified nutritionists are trained in and utilize the current medical diagnostic tools as well as specialized functional diagnostic tools to help diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of conditions and diseases beyond what a traditional chiropractor treat. Clinical nutrition is an evidence-based approach to healing using diet, nutrition, and lifestyle. Many of the tools used by DACBNs include blood work, food sensitivity testing, hormonal assays, stool and urine analysis, and many other diagnostic tools. Dr. Nardi is also board-certified as internal diagnosis which takes his patient workups beyond just their back and spine pain. Many of today’s chronic conditions and disease states can be helped, and often resolved, using natural methods.
Dr. Nardi will continue to provide physical chiropractic treatments that he has always done but it now accepting patients for clinical nutrition on Tuesdays exclusively. For patients seeking an alternative, or adjunctive treatment for conditions not exclusively musculoskeletal and wish a to try a less invasive, less symptom-oriented, and more functionally based, they are encouraged to call his office and request an appointment as a “Nutritional” patient.
