Vale 194 - luxury accommodation in the heart of the McLaren Vale Wine Region

Had an incredible getaway here with my friends! From the moment we arrived, everything felt luxurious and welcoming. The attention to detail with the amenities is what truly sets this place apart; every little thing felt so thoughtful and well considered. The rooms were outstanding, the location was excellent, and we genuinely felt spoiled the entire time. I’m already planning my next visit and would highly recommend this accommodation for a luxury escape in the heart of McLaren Vale.

My fiancé hired two of the Vale194 cottages for himself and his groomsmen the night before our wedding, and it was a wonderful experience. The cottages were beautifully clean, spacious, and provided the perfect setting for our photographer to capture some stunning images on the morning of the wedding. Not to mention, the fantastic cafés, eateries, and shops all within easy walking distance made the stay even more enjoyable.

Beautifully set‑up, comfortable houses in the most convenient location. It’s the perfect base for exploring the wider McLaren Vale region and an easy walk to the shops, cafés, and pub on the main street. Jodie is lovely to deal with and makes the whole check‑in/check‑out process effortless.

Wow, just wow. My family and friends booked all 5 houses for my daughters wedding, we had the absolute best time for 3 nights. They exceeded our expections by far. Perfect location to Main St for the pub/cafes and shops. The layout inside is gorgeous and everything has been thought of. It really just added to the occasion by making it really special.

We stayed in House 3 (which has the largest back yard) and absolutely LOVED it. Absolute luxury throughout, the kitchen had everything and we were beyond impressed! We were 3 couples and we all had our own area of the house which was fabulous. The location was so good to explore the area - everything was less than 10 minutes! We cannot wait to return.

Very comfortable, clean and well-appointed. We used it as a base for 5 days of golf in the Adelaide region and wine and food in the McLaren Vale area. Vale194 was perfectly located for both activities. Will certainly recommend it very highly to anyone planning a visit to Adelaide and McLaren Vale.

Vale 194 has everything you need and is such a beautiful stay.. it’s walking distance to everything in McLaren vale main area, and the house itself is so lovely! We were all so comfortable as a family.

Vale 194 is perfect. The owners have thought of everything from the high quality linen and fit out to the inclusion of wine decanters, cheese knives, board games and information on the local area. We booked direct through their website and found the communication to be prompt and informative as well as friendly and helpful. The location is ideal and was quiet and secure, while the layout of the villas was superb. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the pillows were a dream. Next time I am visiting McLaren Vale, I won't bother looking anywhere else.

We absolutely loved our stay at Vale 194 (6 adults). The accommodation was central in the Main Street of McLaren Vale, so it was an easy walk to supermarkets, cafes, pubs, restaurants and wineries. Being at the end of a short laneway, it was actually very quiet, despite being in the middle of town. The rooms were beautifully appointed with quality furnishings, linen and appliances. I don't think I have ever come across such a well equipped kitchen before! The owners were happy to oblige a late checkout request on this occasion. Would absolutely stay again and more than happy to recommend to others.
