Working with Jason was nothing short of HIGH level. As a Division 1 basketball player I’ve worked with dozens of trainers over the years and from the first consultation to the final session, he was more focused than any I’ve come across. His retention of details about what I was feeling and how my body was responding to the sessions was incredible. I came to Jason after a pretty serious ankle surgery with no confidence in my process of recovery at the time. After the first few treatments I could tell I was going to be fine. What I like about the Vital Six approach is that it’s personal and efficient. Jason is attentive and focused on you, and the hour-long session is extremely productive. Most PTs are working with 3-4 clients at a time and you have to wait and improvise while others are being tended to. Often times you’ll be left waiting around. With Jason, you can expect an hour of deliberate focus on getting healthy and strong. Not only did I get strong but I got stronger than before the injury too. By the time I was done working with him I was moving better on the court than I had in two years. His sessions are no walk in the park either. When I came to vitals six I was ready to work. And I would leave in a full on sweat. Jason’s treatment and recovery methods were also very refreshing. He finds new workouts, new drills and keeps you chasing improvement with each rep. They all made sense. For me I was training for basketball and the movements we’d work on translated. One thing I loved was the challenge and the unfamiliarity of some exercises and movements he would guide me through. There was always something new and he made sure to explain why we were doing it. On top of that he was fantastic with dry needling, e-stim, scraping and manual tissue work. As a college athlete I thought I had seen all kinds of treatment, but Jason adds his own sauce to it in a way that gave me confidence I was doing something different and therefore ahead of the game. His colleague Emily, was incredible at scraping as well. In addition to all the skills and professionalism, Vital Six was always leveling up. New turf, new equipment, and a new look and feel were all there and it showed Jason truly is invested in his business of improving his clients health. He’s also a cool guy who I quickly became friends with throughout our time together. I can’t thank him enough. Without his help I wouldn’t have been ready in time for my season and been able to perform how I did. Jason could easily be working with nba players and other pro athletes. He seriously is HIGH level. Anyone considering going to him, don’t think twice. Your body will thank you.

I started seeing Dr. Gearhart at Vital Six when an old back injury flared up. I've seen a lot of doctors and PTs over the years and I really appreciated a few things about his approach -- he really listened to what I was telling him (seems obvious, but is not always the case with practitioners) and tailored my treatment plan to my goals based on where I was each time I saw him. I'd certainly recommend working with him and his team, I know I'll be back!
