We spent $2000 for two doors to be covered with shutters and I’m only halfway satisfied and here’s why: the front door was installed correctly and there’s no gap and the door on the shutter closes well; however, the back door was installed incorrectly and there’s a gap and even after they came out to “fix” it, it’s the exact same as before. When they first installed it, they drove a screw through the side of the frame which I believe is still causing the gap because the frame is essentially ruined but they said that was something else and mansplained a few things to me, had me sign something saying they fixed it and left. I think if my husband were here and the one dealing with it all the outcome may have been different. They installed everything by eye and hand (didn’t measure anything) and it was quick and sloppy. If they took even a few more minutes maybe they wouldn’t have put the screw through the frame. It’s extremely disappointing to spend this much and have this outcome at only being 50% satisfactory in my opinion. But $2000 is probably a small drop in the bucket to them when they’re used to installing whole homes so maybe we weren’t high on their priority list.

We bought vertical blinds from Hunter Douglas that lasted for decades. When we replaced the great room blinds with top down/bottom up, they broke 5 times in 4 1/2 years. We bought them December 2019 and finally tossed them in July 2024. They had a life-time guarantee, and we would have to take them down and haul them to the store. The last time we were charged a fee. Each time it took weeks for the repair. I complained, and Mark Christ responded with a statement about built-in obsolesce. The top down/bottom up were very costly. We would gently lower them and some plastic component inside that holds the blind in place would snap so the entire blind came crashing to the bottom of the window sill. I would never recommend them!!!!!!!!

We moved into a house with these types of shades already in it, one of the brackets broke and they sent the replacement part for free and made it super painless and easy! I literally just sent them my house address and they’re having it shipped to me for free. So nice, customer service is so great. Would recommend to anyone!

Mark was so helpful and very patient when trying to fix some issues I had with my shutters. He spent so much time with me in the phone talking me through step by step, to make sure we got our order correct. I would definitely recommend using them.

Mark Christ returned my call on a Saturday even though the business isn’t open on Saturday. I was having trouble with the PowerView software that controls our door shades. Mark helped me reinstall PowerView and proceeded to walk me through recalibration of the window shades on the problem door and taught me how to use PowerView to calibrate shades, create scenes, check battery status, and several other useful functions of the software. He spent about an hour of his time to make me a happy customer. I highly recommend Utah Blinds Gallery!!!

We had such a great experience here! Mark called me almost immediately when I filled out a form through their website to get more information on their blinds. We came in the next day to see their blinds and were amazed at such great quality. These are the types of blinds that are dependable and also block out hot air during summer time. They also provide warranty if anything happens to the blinds. Mark was able to come to our house that same day to measure all the areas needed, and we received our blinds and had them installed quickly as well. I would definitely recommend them! I recently had the pleasure to work with Mark. I had a broken slat that needed to be replaced. We had bought the blinds from Wallpaper Warehouse in ‘09 and wasn’t sure if I could get a slat. After getting the information from the track, he was on the phone with HD. He was able to order a new slat and it was delivered in less than 2 weeks. He helped me replace the broken slat and explained how to replace them. Mark is very knowledgeable, and well informed about Blinds. He is a huge asset to this business. We will definitely be referring them to friends and family. We will be back to Utah Blinds Gallery for future business.

We knew that we wanted a Hunter Douglas product in our home so we went to the Utah Blinds Gallery in South Jordan. We met Mark, the Manager and knew we were in the right place. Mark was friendly and knowledgeable. He showed and demonstrated the several choices available and helped us find the perfect Shade to suit every room. Our choice was the highly rated, Energy Efficient, Duette Honeycomb Shades with PowerView, Remote. We are in love! Within three weeks our beautiful Shades were installed by Backcountry Blinds. Tim and Ryan were also very friendly and professional. In short order these guys had the Shades up in all six windows, no fuss or mess.
