Great experience at Urgent Dental! I was in and out in less than an hour to get a tooth pulled. The staff was super friendly and explained everything from start to finish. Made the whole process quick, easy, and stress-free. Highly recommend!

Open app Your location Immediate Dental Care 3537 S Lafountain St Suit A, Kokomo, IN 46902 Emergency dental service Sharon Irwin 74 points 14 hours ago I just had the absolute worst dental visit in my entire life. I called for an emergency appointment i was told to come in at 1130 am. So I arrived on time and was greeted by a very friendly staff. That's where the positive aspects ended. I was then made to shoot and wait until 315pm to get treated (I needed a tooth extracted due to nerve exposure). If waiting at a dentists office when you already gave anxiety about dental visits isn't bad enough. At 2pm after my xray advised them that my son who was with me needed to be at work at 4pm and we live 35 minutes from the office, they advised me they would have us out in plenty of time. So I continue to Walt patiently until the 315 time i mentioned before. At this time I politely asked if I would bring my son to work and come back. They abruptly came to my room numbed me and extracted the tooth within 15 minutes maximum. I had previously advised i was allergic to ibuprofen and it wasn't until after she ripped the tooth from my mouth that she proceeds to tell me she will not be sending a prescription for pain medication to the pharmacy. I have never in my life had a tooth extracted and not been given pain medication. I am livid that they had me waiting there for 5hrs to do 15 minutes of work and the lack of compassion for me after ripping a tooth from my mouth. I would not recommend going here unless your desperate as I was.

Run!! The worst dental experience I have ever had. I shouldn’t have gone there in the first place but I needed an urgent care service. Went there for tooth extraction, I should have said no when she said I was not going to be put to sleep. The lidocaine to numb the area so I don’t feel the pain was been injected in such a hurry way, during the extraction I could feel severe pain and all I was being told to stay still because if I move it makes it harder but I couldn’t control the pain. I could feel my heart beating as if I was running a race. I started shivering and said I needed a break. When I complained I was not feeling comfortable and in pain I was told that I have been given a lot of solution and that in her past 18yrs of practice she hasn’t encountered anyone whose pain hasn’t been controlled with that amount of solution. I was told it’s just the pressure but I could feel every bit of the pulling to the point that I had to stop her from extracting the last piece that was left. She was not nice to me but when I introduced myself to her that I am also a nurse and I understand when a patient says she or he is uncomfortable and in pain. I am still in severe pain even after 4days. I was prescribed ibuprofen and antibiotics with steroids even though I was still bleeding. I called the office to see if they can prescribe anything stronger for my pain and I was told to combine Tylenol with ibuprofen. Few days Later, I called the office to ask if I can come for me to be sedated so that the piece that was left can be removed, they said yes but when I drove over an hour to the place, I was told sedation, prescription of a stronger pain medication and filling signing of my FMLA forms are all out her scope of practice so I should either go to the ED or make appointment with My PCP for them to call her for verification before I can be prescribed any stronger for my throbbing pain. On my way to go to urgent care, they called me that a Dr. was going to send in prescription for me so I stopped going to urgent care. It’s been 4 days now and I have not received any prescriptions, no update or anything has been communicated to me since Sorry for the long post but if something happens when you go there, you are on your own

I had so much pain and it was in my ear, I was able to get in and get treated for a root canal. They did not refer me out and I was able to get the procedure done there and left feeling pain free. I loved the office I even scheduled my son back to get his wisdom teeth removed! Highly recommend.

I went in with severe dental pain. They removed a wisdom tooth, did 3 fillings and a cleaning on the left side. My dentist and dental assistant were incredible!

If I could give zero star, I would. The dentist don't know how to pull a tooth and left angry without sending any medicine. Awful experience.
