Very nice people! If you’re looking for a truly calming experience, I definitely recommend this place. The acupuncturist, James, is clearly very knowledgeable in his work. He takes the time to personally go over what you’re hoping to address or relieve in your body and tailors the treatment to your needs. Super friendly and accommodating

James put my mind at ease going into my first session. He quickly placed the needles & I was instructed to rest & relax in the dimly lit room in my comfy recliner for as long as deemed necessary. I felt comfortable. No pain at all.

James very clearly explained everything involved, the atmosphere was remarkably relaxing, and I very much look forward to what emerges from my upcoming sessions.

I've had two appointments with Urbana Acupuncture and appreciate the treatment and service they provide. Anna has welcomed me on both occasions in her very friendly and helpful manner, and the acupuncturist, James, has a calming and reassuring presence. I had not attended an acupuncture clinic previously that was purely acupuncture treatment based and does not go into body types and diet. But I appreciate that the model allows for a flexible payment range which allows me and likely many others to afford to be able to attend more frequently and longer-term. I look forward to continue attending regularly and to realizing the beneficial health outcomes of acupuncture.

A very clean, relaxing, homey atmosphere. I never take naps- even if I want to. However, between their atmosphere and pins, I napped like a baby. I think I even snored a little (so embarrassing). Who knew?

extremley effective for my paralyzed glue, very professional I didn't know how good James was in my first review untill now it's been 2 years in China I have encountered many acupuncturist and I find only one is as good as James, and normally this quality is pricy unlike james's. This guy is even rare in China so go see James if you need help.

I never write reviews. But Urbana Acupuncture deserves one. If you are a first timer seeking out acupuncture come here. I am in my 20s seeking out to better my muscle tension from anxiety. Even with someone with tattoos I was nervous. But I gave it a shot. The front desk was very welcome and explained everything. I filled out an intake form where you put down what is going on. Then from there the acupuncture specialist will sit down with you 1on 1 and explain what to expect. When putting the needles you truly don't feel anything. The experience I am sure is different for every one but for me, as someone who mediates often, went in and out of a meditated state. But at the same time felt my body work through it. If you are thinking of doing it, I highly recommend. And yes, the slide scale, no questions ask is as true as they say. It was truly as very welcoming and comforting environment.

Wonderful experience my pain is coming under control. The release of tension in my shoulder was instant. Kind and soft spoken he listened to my needs and instantly knew what to do Allowing my body to heal itself after years of medication is important to me. Cannot wait until my next session for continued healing.
