At Urbana Acupuncture, we employ a sliding scale for payments: $20-50 / visit (plus an additional $10 for an initial visit). You decide what you can afford.
The Why of our sliding scale:
Frequency is key to getting results with acupuncture, and we don’t want people to have to choose between their health and their budget! We use a sliding scale payment system so that people like you can come in as often as they need to get better.
The community acupuncture clinic shares responsibility for community health with its patients. There are two ways to balance the sliding scale:
More treatments! The more treatments we do, the lower the per-treatment cost is for the clinic.
So:Come often.
Invite people. We depend on you to tell your friends, family, coworkers, and community members.
Pay the higher end of the scale when you can. To stay healthy as a clinic, we need about 5 people a week to pay $25 - $35 for their treatment, and 3 people to pay $36 - 40.
