Unpacked Dog Education and Training

This was a really good opportunity for my dog of little confidence to experience being with other dogs, in a calm environment. It was a small group, and Tanya and Leigh were very accommodating of Tango and a couple of other dogs of low confidence. The work we did was covering everyday situations and very dog friendly. Tanya and Leigh also introduced some other activities to keep our dogs exercised and engaged.

Having done both the scent classes and adolescent class, I found Tanya and Leigh to be exceptional! The classes are small so assistance is always there. There's zero judgement which is amazing for any owners with reactive dogs. I loved the sense of team not only from Tanya and Leigh, but also from the other participants. Most importantly, the courses were fun with lots of humor to break up the seriousness of dog training/dog sports. Highly recommend! Thanks Tanya and Leigh.

Tanya and Leigh are fantastic teachers of dogs and their humans! They were kind enough to allow me to restart training at no cost after the passing of my mum prevented me from finishing the first round we were enrolled in. Level one has definitely strengthened my relationship with my pup Dotti and we can’t wait for level two adolescent classes! 🐶

Just completed the adolescent training with Augie Joe and it was excellent ++ An encouraging small class, fun, outdoor environment and fantastic trainers in Tanya and Leigh. The weekly class notes are amazing. Highly recommend and hopefully will get a chance to continue with some scent training . Thank you !!

I have just completed adolescent class with my French bulldog. Leigh and Tanya are incredibly knowledgeable and fantastic instructors. From teaching simple instructions to understanding my dog more. I learnt so much from these classes and have a better relationship with my dog. Highly recommend.

The Level 1 Adolescence class has given me the confidence to keep going with my "teenage-terrior". Leigh and Tanya offer easy, practical advice to follow, and do so with such kindness and empathy.

My golden retriever Pip and I, really enjoyed our 4 week adolescent course with Unpacked. After 16 months of not being able to go for walks confidently, I'm finally enjoying walking Pip. Thanks so much Leigh and Tanya for the fun experience and all the skills we've taken away from the course.

Tanya and Leigh were wonderful, and gave us a bunch of tools and techniques to help us work with our little Bertie. We have a better understanding of our dog and their focus on positive reinforcement was exactly what we needed.

These guys are great. We have been to several puppy schools and dog trainers over the years with various cherished pets and the girls at unpacked are the best we’ve been to. Knowledgeable, caring, easy manner. A great asset to Ballarat. Offer a different perspective to the usual trainers. Scent training was awesome also. Good for reactive dogs.

These two are true gems to the dog training space. I originally came to them with my reactive sighthound cross for their scentwork classes. We continued on to do privates to work on his reactivity. They are the most understanding which I highly value as I have found this difficult to find. I especially appreciated their recognition and knowledge of different breed traits. I feel fully supported and best of all Chino loves both of them and I would trust both of them and their advice any day
