Unique Porsche Specialists

I'm a first time Porsche owner with a 718 boxster gts which was due a major service. After speaking with a few OPC centers and specialists I chose Unique based on their reputation and enthusiasm for these cars. I wasn't disappointed, Darren and his team did a full check on the car and all it's functions as well as carrying out the major service. My car was well presented with new number plates, painted wheel nuts and cleaned up repainted brake discs. Excellent quality of service and friendly advice. I will definitely be back. Thanks Guys.

Colour me very impressed. I have just returned from Unique after giving my 20 year old 987 Boxster a birthday. Darren and the team were absolutely superb to deal with from start to finish. They went through the car from one end to the other and provided a comprehensive status report on their findings. A plan was then made on what would be done to rectify the issues found, prioritising anything that was deemed more important. My Boxster is no garage queen, but Darren and the guys gave the car the same attention and love as they would a brand new car. Piglet, as he is known (small pork) was returned to me in rude health, with a number of additional touches that were very much appreciated, such as refurbed wheel nuts, polished wheels, fully cleaned, valeted and polished to a shine. The attention to detail, transparency, and customer service at Unique is absolutely second to none, and all done for sensible money. It goes without saying that I will absolutely be using Unique for all my Porsche needs from this point forwards. Very highly recommended.

This is not your usual Porsche servicing experience. Its a masterclass in how it should be done by a consummate pro ! If you want overpriced coffee your funding by an inflated hourly rate ... look elsewhere. Darren tells you he knows his stuff, not by telling you but by his no-nonsense, exceptional Porsche knowledge and a genuine intent not to treat any customer like a cheque-book ( Apple Pay for you young-uns ). Darren took genuine care of my 2004 996 4s as if it was his own personal car. Had it on the ramp to walk me through the work we had agreed when I came to collect my car. Cannot thank or recommend Darren & Unique Porsche highly enough.

Even though Unique Porsche Specialists came highly recommended I am very very impressed. The level of detail that Darren and his team went to was amazing. They drilled out the brake disk holes and sanded the hubs down, they even changed my number plates as he wasn’t happy with the size of mine. Not what expected in a service. Just had my first experience with Unique and I can honestly say I would not take my Porsche to anywhere else. Darren and his team are extremely knowledgeable and professional. I knew instantly I could trust my car in Unique's hands. I'm so pleased and relieved to find a dedicated specialist who's prices, service and expertise are beyond compare. I recieved my car back in such an immaculate condition, it made me fall in love with driving my Porsche all over again. Went to Unique after a tip by a fella off Facebook. Top lads especially Darren who spent time to go through what was needed and why. Gave me a tour of the garage and seemed genuinely interested in my needs as much as the car. Wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them.

What began as a simple request for a pre-purchase inspection quickly became a masterclass in Porsche ownership. From our first conversation, Darren was remarkably generous with both his time and his encyclopaedic knowledge, carefully educating us on what to look for (and, crucially, what to avoid). Unique carried out an exceptionally thorough inspection of the first 911 C4S and uncovered several issues which would have escaped the untrained eye. Although their advice to walk away was, at the time, naturally disappointing, it was undoubtedly the wisest counsel we could have received. A month later, a second 911 entered our orbit—this time one which passed inspection with flying colours. Darren, Rob and the wider team then guided us on, new tyres and a small amount of preventative work to ensure the car was in truly sound mechanical health. Their knowledge, integrity and customer care have been nothing short of exemplary. Frankly, we wouldn’t contemplate trusting our car to anyone else for servicing or maintenance. First time flyer at Unique, what can I say 10/10 from me. Darren and John are amazing people and took very good care of me and my car. In for a minor service and replace the cat to manifold exhaust bolts (987 weakness). Gave the car a really nice appraisal and advised about a few things, the attention to detail and preparation is exceptional. Darren is clearly passionate about these cars and his customers. I feel lucky to have found them, they replaced all of rusty bolts, fixings and little clips with new stainless items, superb attention to detail. Collection time the car was on the ramp, spotless ready for me to see the work undertaken, Darren walked me through everything and helped me understand a few observations for the future. He even painted my wheel bolts so they look like new, speechless. Thank you, Darren and team, one very grateful customer. James.

Just bought my Porsche Boxster 987.2 2.9 PDK and took it straight to Darren at Unique Porsche Specialists for a major service and it was the best decision I could’ve made. He carried out a full health check, replaced the oil filter, air filter, spark plugs (Bosch), brake fluid, and more. But what really stood out was how much Darren went above and beyond. He sprayed my wheel nuts silver, sorted out the rusty rotors behind the wheels, polished up my exhaust beautifully, and even replaced my ridiculously oversized rear number plate (we both agreed it had to go lol). To top it all off, he gave the car a full valet, She came back gleaming. The banter with Darren was 10/10 too. Proper genuine guy who clearly knows and loves what he does. Can't recommend him enough if you want someone who treats your Porsche with real care and detail. Highly recommended. 5 stars all the way! 🌟
