Ultimate Martial Arts

Our three-year-old has been attending Ultimate Martial Arts Academy for only a month and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! The structure and guidance provided by the instructors have made a huge difference in his behavior and listening skills. We’ve noticed significant improvement in his patience, focus, and ability to follow directions — all while having so much fun! He absolutely loves going to class each week, and we’re excited to continue his journey here. The positive, supportive environment makes it clear that the academy truly cares about each student’s growth. Our son has gone here for the last 5 months and has really enjoyed it. We also just had his birthday party there and many kids said it was the best birthday party ever. We also had multiple kids ask about joining. All of the coaches are very nice and you can tell they love the kids and their job. Hector and Alec worked the birthday party and they did a wonderful job.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place with my whole heart! They are the most kind and wonderful with the kids. My kids confidence has already grown so much and they beg to go back to class. Thank you for such an amazing, life changing experience.

My daughter loves attending twice a week. The staff are all super friendly and accommodating with your schedule. It's clear they love what they do because it shows in how they work with the kids and parents. Would definitely recommend bringing your kid here!

We have been a Fresno UMA family now for at least 7 years. I have watched my child grow from a scarred timid white belt hiding under Sensei's chairs in the seating area to a black belt in training on the verge of mastering the in-depth lesson plans for promotion. I have watched many of the students grow into excellent staff/employees for Sensei Rudy and Miss Wendy. I have watched my son grow great bonds with his instructors and respect for his Sensei and Marital Arts in general. I have had the pleasure of building strong mutually respective relationships with my fellow Adult Kickboxing peers which I cherish greatly. I literally have watch the building grow into a larger school to accommodate all who wish to join when Sensei Rudy and Miss Wendy renovated and merged the adjacent build to increase student capacity. I have been blessed with finding Sensei Rudy's dojo to keep me healthy and fit while also being blessed with Miss Wendy's excellent managerial service for every scenario or situation off the mat. Fresno UMA is the one Constant in our families busy life that has always been an anchor for our troubled days and worrisome nights. Covid-19 has been a nightmare for all families around the world, but one light in the darkness for our family here in Fresno, CA has been the strength, the companionship, and love that our Fresno UMA has given us all these years. I plan on attending Fresno UMA forever, because I believe in Sensei Rudy and Miss Wendy's vision for teaching Martial Arts. I feel their love for students, parents, and staff everyday I step into our dojo. The instructors are professional, encouraging, and really care about their students’ progress. The classes are fun, challenging, and a great workout for the kids.

I have 2 boys that train here. My youngest is 4 and my oldest now being 11. My oldest has trained with Ultimate Martial Arts for almost 5 years now. I would recommend anyone and everyone, young or old, short or tall to join. My kids have matured in ways you wouldn't think would be with such young boys. Academically, emotionally, situational awareness, and fitness. there is so much good that has come to my boys from training with their team. I will never be able to express my gratitude enough.

As a young woman wanting to learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, I was nervous starting out, but Ultimate Martial Arts definitely put that nervousness at ease. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, with no ego and classes that go at a good pace for beginners. Everyone there, from the instructors to the other students, is always encouraging and supportive. I have had the privilege to train with Sensei Rudy and his students at Ultimate Martial Arts for over 10 years! Sensei Rudy runs a fantastic dojo that is geared towards everyone from the beginner looking to get in shape, to the seasoned professional martial artist who is looking to challenge themselves. The environment is very welcoming! I was completely blown away by the classes that were taught by Sensei Rudy and his staff. The classes were organized, really fun, HIGH energy, and very interactive. I watched the staff teach, correct, and give a ton of attention to each student in the group classes. Sensei Rudy has the unique gift of bringing out the best in his students and it's quite obvious that he really enjoys spending time on the mat teaching. If you are in the area I highly recommend trying a class!
