On this day in 1775, the U.S. Army was born--primarily consisting of volunteers to fight in the American Revolution. It's because their bravery and sacrifice that I'm here typing this message and you're here reading it. Today, as the largest branch of the U.S. military, the proud men and women of the U.S. Army continue to provide peace and security for all of us.
