To the untrained eye, walking around this house at Collingwood Park all looks pretty good.
But our Pest Inspector has a well-trained eye! His excellent training and extensive experience in detecting the presence of termites alerted him there was an issue.
This fine line of dirt or mud creeping up the brickwork was a termite trail.
Termites build these mud trails to protect themselves from predators and to keep cool. They need a safe corridor to commute to and from their nest to their food source.
As you can see from the photos, the mud trail is fine and low to the ground. So easy to miss.
Our client didn’t see it when he inspected the property and placed an offer to buy it.
