Estate planning is something that was on my "to do" list for years. Not sure where to turn, I used the 'Find a Lawyer' portal on the Illinois State Bar Association website. I came across Tom Tuohy's profile and his professional experience and credentials were clearly robust. From my initial communications and consultation with Tom, I knew I was in great hands. He clearly and thoughtfully provided the steps I needed to take per my situation. When I finally decided to complete the estate plan and will, his team was well coordinated from providing me the exact forms I needed to fill out, to getting me set up with the online portal to upload documents, to setting the in-person signing (they provide witnesses & notary on-site as well) to answering my specific questions about the process. On the day of my in-person signing, Tom and the team spent 2 hours with me going over my information and provided a "mini-course" on estate planning & wills. I was pleasantly surprised at how efficient and wonderful this process went. My husband and I went to set up our trust and everything was so thorough. Everyone in the office from: Natalie, Shelly and Tom made us feel at ease during the entire process. The paperwork and explanation was very easy to understand.
