I hired True North Appliance service to do a service call for a Washer. I had someone show them the unit and then I called later in the day for the report. I was told I needed to make a quick decision because they order parts the next day. It’s a rental unit so I didn’t want my renter to be without a Washer for too long. When I called they said they would get back to me the next morning with the results…. And I never heard back. They obviously didn’t care about the quick turnaround I was wanting to accomplish for my renter. But they did charge me for the service call… I guess follow up isn’t included. Not happy at all… ordered a new Washer for my tenant

We required a part to be replaced in our fridge. The reception staff were so very kind, knowledgeable and patient! Mike was great; professional, respectful and did the job in a timely manner!

We had a problem with our washer. They misdiagnosed the problem as a locking latch and spent 5 days waiting for a part and booking an appointment. The latch did not fix the problem. We waited 5 more days for another appointment. The problem was now the circuit board. Waited at least 5 days for the part to come in. Paid for laundry service throughout. Part came in. laundry seemingly fixed. 4 weeks later the locking latch became a problem. Different company was called to diagnose. Work done was found to be outside of warranty and thus not covered. We were leaving a rental and are now being denied our damage deposit because True North chose to do non conforming work on the circuit board of a washer. Close to $700 paid and $1100 lost on a damage deposit for a $800 Washing machine while paying for laundry in a local apartment building. Do NOT hire these people. Not accountable. Not good enough. Not Acceptable.

Mike gave us excellent service. He was on time diagnosed problem immediately ordered the part installed it problem solved. For polite honest courteous service I recommend True North.

Had True North come and look at a fridge that wasn't defrosting. I had it for about 6 months when it didn't defrost. When it frosted up the fridge portion wouldn't get cold. They came and told me the defrost timer was bad. I had them change the timer at a cost of just under $400 because there was travel to Elkford involved. Almost exactly 6 months after the repair, the fridge frosted again and I had to manually defrost it. I asked them to come back to look at it again and asked them to waive the service fee, as they hadn't fixed the problem. They refused and told me that I had to pay the service and travel fee for them to look at it again -- even though the original problem was never repaired. They insisted that there was only a 90 warranty. I would never be able to know if the fridge was defrosting properly in 90 days, as it took months to frost up. I only asked them to look at it again without charge, which I think is reasonable. Either they didn't fix it, or the part failed. Either way I don't think I should have to pay for them just to come look at it again.

Great experience . . . Gayle was amazing. Not only did she fit us in to their next Fairmont trip but she ordered parts for our fridge in advance based on the two things that could be wrong. She also asked for a copy of our invoice and we were pleasantly suprised to find that the problem compress was covered under warranty. Great service and the technician (Steve) was professional and efficient.

I cannot say enough good things about Gayle and her team. They helped me with a Warranty issue on a new fridge that was dead on arrival. I won't go in to details, but they went above and beyond for us. Their customer service is top notch! Thank you.

True North is amazing, from their technicians to office staff, the customer experience is top notch! If I had to use 5 words to describe my experience, they would be, professional, courteous, cost effective, kind and punctual.
