With this high heat, don't confuse a pool leak with evaporation. We just did our own bucket test and it showed a loss of 1/2" in 24 hours in Richardson TX.
If your pool is losing 1/2" or less per day, do a bucket test first to determine if you're losing water due to a leak or extreme summer evaporation.
