At Derek Arms Academy, we pride ourselves on being the premier training center for first-time shooters. We understand that stepping onto a range for the first time can be intimidating, which is why our January 10th class is designed to be welcoming, educational, and safe for everyone—regardless of experience level.
• Beginner-Friendly: No prior shooting experience is required. We’ll walk you through the basics of grip, stance, and safety.
• Expert Instruction: Learn the legal "ins and outs" of North Carolina's concealed carry laws from certified professionals.
• Comfortable Environment: Train on our private range at 3317 Love Mill Rd, Monroe, NC.
• No Gear? No Problem: If you don't have your own handgun yet, we provide rentals to help you get certified.
What to expect in a firearm safety class:
• Basics of Firearm Handling: Proper grip, stance, and aiming techniques.
