Diesel Mechanic Union Tec Truck & Trailer Repair
Union Tec is seeking an experienced and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team. We are a trusted, family-owned truck and trailer repair service dedicated to providing reliable maintenance, repair, and roadside assistance to fleet operators and independent truckers across the Charlotte metro area.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, transmissions, drivetrains, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems
Perform preventive maintenance services, including DOT inspections and scheduled fleet service packages
Troubleshoot computer diagnostic systems for medium- and heavy-duty trucks
Conduct trailer repairs including air lines, lighting, and structural components
Ensure all work meets Union Tec’s standards of quality, safety, and transparency
Keep detailed repair records and communicate effectively with service advisors and customers
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a diesel mechanic (truck & trailer repair preferred)
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, diagnostics, and repair procedures
Ability to read technical manuals and interpret diagnostic codes
Own set of tools (preferred)
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
