He genuinely loves what he does, whether that is surgery, patient care, or teaching medical students. With six board certifications under his belt (Yes, really. Six. Most doctors only have one or two), his depth of knowledge is in a league of its own. I learned more under his tutelage than I could have from any textbook, especially when it came to cosmetic surgery, facial plastic surgery, ENT, sleep medicine, anesthesia, and surgical safety overall; he knows how to take excellent care of patients. Dr. Troell’s background speaks for itself: Stanford training, academic teaching roles, international surgical education and outreach, and an extensive publication history (more publications than years I've been alive). He has taught and practiced across the globe, including in Kenya and Mexico, which gives him a uniquely broad and practical perspective on surgical care that would be hard to find elsewhere. And of course, his staff-- Amy and Angela are fantastic and integral parts of the team. They are warm, professional, and make the clinic feel welcoming and comfortable from start to finish! I came in with a lot of anxiety from touring other places prior that left me uneasy and anxious, Dr is great at walking you through the procedure while Yessenia is encouraging and is like a bestfriend to you throughout your whole journey! I met Dr. Troell on June 2020. I had an upper blepharoplasty. It was a great experience (a dental filling is more painful). I was so happy with the results that I decided to ask for an eyebrow lift. After a detailed and clear explanation about it and options provided by Dr. Troell I decided to have a deep plane facelift with cheek implants. I was a little afraid, but Dr. Troell made me feel so confident with his explanation cons and pros and decided to do it and I did it!!! OMG what a great change. I am so happy I did it. And to make the result much better... about 6 months later I did a CO2 laser... Another success!!!! I thought I was done with procedures. But I had breast implants for 19 years (done somewhere else) and they had to be removed due some problems I started having. I waited almost 2 years after the removal and decided to visit Dr. Troell to ask for his opinion about having breast augmentation. And on 03.16.2026 I got my implants and a mini liposuction. All the surgeries I had with Dr. Troell, I took maybe 2 or 3 pain killers. I was so blessed to meet Dr. Troell. Besides being a great doctor he is a wonderful person! Cannot thank him enough for all I have accomplished thanks to him. He contacted me about 2 times per day the first 3-4 days after the procedures just to make sure everything was fine. And his staff...... !!!! Amy, Samantha and Yesenia... they are also wonderful, loving, caring people.
