PLEASE READ BEFORE GOING HERE... We Ordered our floor around Feb March - what came after some delay in April was completely different . The Owner had the gaul to say the sample that we saw is Old and has not been renewed for years and not his fault ( picture below - on the right is the exhibition piece and on the left the floor that was sent ) - obviously Lying ....and made up a story of how other people have never made a fuss on the floor - the difference is like night and day Their delivery arrangements are unprofessional at best - they just dump the floor on your door step then any other established company which bring them inside the house - which was the case with the next company when we ordered the floor - they delivered it to the inside of the house as it should be - Me and my wife had to go and complain and found the owner defensive, the front manager incompetent ( i must say the manager - i wont take any names here - if was working in any reputable establishment would be sacked within hours) - when our floor was delayed and then the wrong floor was delivered - this Owner in front of other customers said to my wife "your issues are trivial there is war in ukraine going on" - has absolutely nothing to do with the sheer incompetence that he was demonstrated not to mention crude , obnoxious and defensive behaviour - i have never seen a shopkeeper speak like this to a customer - Their floor was picked up the next day for a full refund as they had to accept complete liability - i took pictures when it was all loaded and send back ( one attached below ) Their refund practices are suspicious - the front manager saying oh when we get our money from supplier X then we can issue you your refund - my wife had to put him in his place ( he went up to his boss ,got screamed at and came down with his tail between his legs and issued the refund) - his initial tactic was to deflect the refund citing they need to recoup the money from someone else before they can give it to you - very very fishy - makes you raise eyebrows Please go to the surrounding shops and inquire about his reputation before you step foot into this establishment ..you will hear stories - i wish we had gone to the other shops before we set foot into his store - live and learn I work in the govt sector i have seen many variations of silly and absurd but this establishment takes the cake go at your own risk my money is back and will never go near this place again and yes a floor ( a bit more expensive from another retailer was a completely different and nicer experience ) ...

Awful service - Prices not as listed, disinterested customer service agent, and incorrect bulk discount calculations.

I had a bad experience shopping at Trendy flooring, Orpington. I purchased Vinyl flooring and paid delivery charges. The staff advised me to purchase 15% extra for waste. I asked about the return policy, staff explained that they will refund any unopened box returned within 28 days. I installed the floor, waste was minimal, I took to the store the unopened boxes within 10 days. The manager/owner issued a refund after deducting 25%+VAT. I questioned this deduction as it was not mentioned when I purchased & it is unfairly high fees since I took the unopened boxes myself to the store. He referred to a small print paper on a wall behind a desk that is unaccessible to customers. Applying such a high penalty to refund unused unopened undamaged boxes is unacceptable and not declaring it to customers when they ask before purchase is poor service.

We were keen to visit Trendy Flooring having had it recommended by a contractor who was quoting for our hardwood floor installation. However, having read some reviews we were a little bit put off, particularly since the trip to Orpington was quite far. Nonetheless, we gave it a shot. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement. There were a couple of reviews we read which spoke to the "youthfulness" of the customer service staff. On entering, this is immediately what we noticed. There were two behind the front desk who didn't seem all that occupied with walking the store and instead appeared more interested in their phones. Having done some research, we had a pretty good idea of what we wanted. We let the sales associate know these wants. Rather than offering suggestions or showing us specific examples of products that fit our needs, we were just directed to general areas where there might be options. This was quite different from what we had experienced in other showrooms where the salesperson would offer us very specific options that might work for us. Given that there were two sales associates, we thought that one could have stayed with us and helped us find what we wanted. No such luck. We also found the QR code system quite clunky. Where other showrooms have all the details out and visible, for us to find out information about the product (depth, width, length, and particularly price), we had to scan a QR code. This spoke to a bit of a lack of transparency in our minds. We also found the darkness of the warehouse a bit offputting and felt it did not give us a good sense of what the flooring might look like in the light of our home. I have to add that my husband and I were both very put off by the presumptiveness of the person to whom we talked. In directing us to the products, they immediately told us that the "mid-range" options were in a specific area. We both look quite young, however, we think that assuming that we could only afford to buy mid-range floors was quite offensive. If you're considering a trip out to Orpington from afar, I would think twice about coming the Trendy Flooring. If you know exactly what you want, are happy with looking at options yourself without help from anyone, and are okay with having to scan QR codes to get the information you're after, maybe this is for you. Luckily, if you're in the area and need a better experience, there's a pretty great option just two units over.

We bought the flooring from them for the entire house that we recently bought. They offered taking out old carpets and full installation. We accepted as they had relatively good reviews. The work was done by each day different traders arriving on site. We have issues with the flooring throughout the house ever since. All our calls for someone to visit and inspect were rebuffed by saying they are too busy or that has nothing to do with them as traders and office staff that dealt with us have left. Still waiting for the company to take the responsibility. Avoid at any cost! Three month later (July 2023) still waiting for management to get back to us. Avoid at any cost. Four staff members that were really helpful and wanted to make things right interestingly all left the company. We got reassurance that the owner will contact us, still waiting (August 2023)

I used Trendy Flooring to supply and install new parquet walnut flooring (and skirting boards) as part of full property refurbishment and was really happy with the customer service, professionalism and workmanship. The team of fitters that did the installation were very polite, whatever questions or requests I had were never an issue for them but most importantly the end product was to a very high standard. Finally, the customer support from Simeon before, during and after the installation was excellent. If I had any questions on the care and maintenance of the flooring, wanted to add materials to the order, change dates to suit my schedule, etc he was always there to respond and accommodate my requests. I had a very positive experience with Trendy Flooring and if anyone wants peace of mind they are using specialist engineered wood floor installers who use high quality materials then I recommend speaking with them.

Trendy by name trendy by product 🙂. You can get lost with al the choice 🤯. Only negative point is that you have to pay £40 to take a sample home. Could be less.

Great Experience. Staff were lovely and helped me pick out the exact type of flooring I was looking for. The quality of the floor is top quality and looks amazing. Definitely would recommend anyone looking for flooring to pop in and have a look at the large selection they have.

If you want to admire a wide range of planks of wood flooring, then this is the place for you. But don't expect anything more than that. Customer service is appalling. The female staff, to fair make a haphazard attempt at service, the male staff are useless when they aren't being rude. But tbh I don't think any of them are aware of what they are selling, and are simply caretakers waiting to clock out. All answers to any questions are simply deferred, they won't have an answer to the standard questions a customer would ask. The item labeling is absolutely confusing and the pricing is consistently unclear. You are expected to scan QR codes for pricing but wait, some of the codes are out of date and don't work! I'm willing to bet my savings that this branch will be out of business within a couple years.
