Tred Appliances

I don't want to harm anybody but the manager here was a scam. He sold me a used part of the fridge which is defrost timer that I bought from them. Because my fridge was suddenly not working that day. I asked if they have that part he said yes, and when he came back from their storage room. I asked the manager why the packaging of the part was already opened he told me he was just checking if my parts are the same ( because that time I brought my defrost timer that was not working). Then, because of my eagerness to buy that part, I bought it for $75, eventhough I'm suspicious about that and some of the parts of that defrost timer was obviously used, but I still give a shot. Then, when I tested it in my fridge that part that I bought from them was not working and my friend who is an experience technician told me, that defrost timer that I bought from them was already used. I run to their shop and bring back that part. Luckily, they still refunded my money. I don't want to do this but please next time don't do that to your customer specially when they don't have any idea how to fix their appliances.

Called last minute needing a deep freeze, by the time I got there the guys had the box at the loading bay door and had it loaded right away. In and out the door and on the road in 10 minutes with great service. Will be returning in the future and highly recommend!

Our oven was messing up called TRed set me up with an appointment. technician came to my house asked me the problem didn’t test anything didn’t look at anything told me right off the bat within 30 seconds. It was a panel told me it would probably cost more money and I should probably just buy a new oven. Was in my house for a whole two minutes and got a bill for $131.00 very disappointed receiving this bill. The last tech I had a year ago came in pull my oven out tested everything and was here for over an hour with a proper diagnoses and my oven was fixed for $60.00.

Recently bought an upright freezer from Tred. When it was delivered they just put it where we wanted it and took off to do another delivery. They didn't even bother to level it or ask which way we wanted the door to open. With me having heart problems I had to finish their job for them. Next time we'll either go to The Brick or go out of town to purchase our next appliance. Very disappointed.

I purchased a stand up freezer from Tred Appliances. Free delivery in town and county. They went above and beyond and not only delivered my freezer, they removed and old fridge from my basement to haul away. I asked if they wouldn’t mind moving a fridge from my garage into my basement and offered to pay to do it. The owner said “ we can do that, but you don’t need to pay us.” After all was said and done and the moving and rearranging of large appliances I handed the owner some “ pizza “ money and he kindly declined and told me to keep my money. Highly recommend Tred Appliances for all your appliance needs. Thank you again for all the help! 😉

We have been customers of Tred Appliances since the owners were Alvin and Mabel Schmitke, then Brian and Loreen Nichols and then Stuart Nichols, and stayed because of great service. We were a little concerned when Stuart sold but have since been very happy with the new owners. Mark and PJ just left after installing our new microwave and I am happy to say that service is still great as always. They are knowledgeable, speedy, tidy and polite...thanks guys!
