I began seeing Roxanne Dobrova for psychiatric care and medication management. Over time, communication became increasingly difficult, especially regarding medication refills and appointments. Appointments were rescheduled last minute and my medication concerns were not properly addressed, and I rarely received direct responses. I consistently had to rely on my counselor to contact her on my behalf just to receive communication or medication refills.
I was told I would continue receiving care through August 2026 while my regular psychiatrist was on maternity leave, but that did not happen. In May 2026, I learned through my counselor, not directly from Roxanne, that she would no longer be treating me. I was not referred to another provider or given guidance for continuity of care.
The lack of communication, inconsistency, and abrupt transition caused significant stress and anxiety during an already vulnerable time. I was seeking support and stability for my mental health, but the experience ultimately increased my stress and made things worse.
