We got our sweet little girl Lhasa puppy from McKenzie and are in love with her! You could tell she had been well socialized. She LOVES everyone and is literally overflowing with personality. Of course she had had all of the necessary vaccine and deworming for her age. McKenzie had a ton of helpful puppy recommendations and when we arrived to pick her up had all of her necessities packed up and ready to go (including her favorite blankie and toy 😌). Although she won’t be a show dog like her parents, she definitely has their looks. We think she’s perfect and we are so glad we found McKenzie!

McKenzie owner of Toy Poodle & Maltese Perfection was recommended to my husband & I by his sister who has a 2 year old toy poodle named Lulu who came from McKenzie. After keeping Lulu several times we knew we wanted a Lulu!!! We contacted McKenzie & it just so happens our sweet Bitsy was the last female available. After talking with McKenzie a little more about Lulu she figured out that Lulu & Bitsy are 1/2 sister’s (same Dad)..how cool is that!!! Bitsy & Lulu LOVE playing together💕 If you are looking for a toy poodle puppy my husband, his sister & I highly recommend McKenzie. She makes the transition process simple, easy & was always available for questions. She sent our “New Baby” home with a bag of goodies & paperwork that was a tremendous help when we took her for the first vet visit. The vet said Bitsy was a VERY healthy puppy & impressed at how social she was with us just having had her 2 days. Bitsy was 2 months when we got her, she is almost 4 months now and this has been the BEST 2 months EVER!!!! Since we got her she seems to have felt “at home“ from day one. Sleeping through the night after the first few days, doing ok with the potty training, loves her crate time, but also loves her snuggle time with my husband & I. Bitsy is also a social butterfly, loves people, other animals… no matter how big or small & has a fit to meet them with a wiggly tail & sweet kisses. She also does very well with our 5 Grandchildren ages 13-2. If you are considering a toy poodle…stop thinking about it & just pick the phone up, give McKenzie a call, I promise you will NOT regret it. McKenzie has been so great to work with both before and after getting my Maltese puppy! Ellie has been home for 3 weeks and she’s just a complete angel! They started crate and pad training before the puppies went to their new homes so it has been so easy to crate and potty train. She was sleeping through the night after being home for a week and a half! This girl is not afraid of anything and it’s obvious she was well socialized before coming home. I couldn’t ask for a better temperament in a puppy!

Great experience with preview, in person, and pre/post-Gotcha Day!! This pup is beautiful, spunky, and sooo smart. He has adapted well to our home. Great experience. Easy to deal with! Highly recommend. I’ll come back and post an updated pic after Tyson is groomed on Monday. He was cute when I picked up up, but I appreciate a breeder who recognizes that all owners don’t desire the same cut.

When we decided to add a Maltese baby to our family we were PICKY with finding a breeder. We are from NJ and interviewed several breeders from Massachusetts to North Carolina. We valued genetic and health testing, breeding for temperament, and proper socialization in the early development window. McKenzie checked every box! We knew instantly that she was the breeder we wanted to work with. She is equal parts confident and nurturing and it really shows when you meet her pups. I was a little nervous flying down to Charlotte to pick up a puppy I had only seen over face time, but I shouldn’t have been! The pickup was so seamless, Mckenzie’s husband was waiting at the airport with my beautiful baby and some goodies. I quickly won her affection with treats and toys and she handled her first flight with confidence! Since coming home it’s been apparent that McKenzie was diligent with crate and pee pad training because she’s mastered those quickly. She has the best temperament you could hope for. She is confident, playful, and friendly. She has loved getting to meet and play with all her cousin dogs, even the bigger ones! Everyone who meets her falls in love with her instantly and she loves the attention. She’s also a very healthy little girl! She came up to date on all age appropriate vaccines and even came to us with a fresh nail trim and the fluffiest cleanest pure white silky coat. Even the vet commented on how pampered she looked! I cannot recommend McKenzie enough and if we ever get our sweet girl a little brother or sister we would not go anywhere else! McKenzie is making the most beautiful and good natured babies out there!

I’m so happy I found McKenzie she such a delightful person, she was so helpful on my journey of getting a Maltese after my recent lost. I couldn’t be happier with my new puppy she’s such a sweetheart. McKenzie takes real good care of this pups they are pure perfection and very healthy. My daughter and I drove out 90 miles to meet one of Toy Poodle and Maltese Perfection’s cute little toy poodles. McKenzie and her husband came out to meet us & were so kind and welcoming. They provided a positive and friendly space for us to meet & interact with the sweet puppy we’d come to get acquainted with that day. I really appreciate how they run their business, love that their puppies are brought up in their home & around children. We ended up bringing our newest family member home that day, and he was so well prepared, handled, & brought up - so that when we were able to bring him home he was familiar with crate training, using a pee pad, taking a daily vitamin, etc. I will definitely recommend anyone I know looking for a sweet toy poodle or Maltese to come here!
