Beware, deceptive practices designed to trap you. CHECK EDIT AT BOTTOM. My Chevy truck failed to start literally across the road from this shop at the Hyundai dealership. I suspected it was a bad starter. I called MEPE auto care on a Saturday and they said they'd be happy to push it across the road on Monday and repair it for FAR less than the Hyundai dealership wanted to charge. Well, it turns out the MEPE auto care rents space from Toufong Towing, which I didn't know when I walked into Toufong's main office on Monday. So, I point out the window to show him my truck and he says "No problem, I'm sure we can beat the dealership's price." Then he proceeds to load my truck on a flatbed tow truck just to get it across the street and says "Don't worry, the cost of the tow is free AS LONG AS WE DO THE REPAIRS." What? Why would you even think about charging me for a tow across the street? MEPE then pulls up while Toufong is loading my truck and says "Were you the guy I talked to on Saturday?" That's when I realized I messed up. I thought, well, Toufong will probably be cheaper than the dealership anyway, so I apologized to MEPE as Toufong brought my truck across the street on a flatbed. Now I know why he didn't just use a tow rope or a pusher car though, SO THAT HE COULD USE THE $125 TOW CHARGE TO HOLD ME HOSTAGE. He ended up quoting me the same price as the dealer! MEPE would have been HALF the price. He also said it would be done the same day. It wasn't. Do NOT give these people your business. If you want to work with MEPE, call them when you get to the shop. DO NOT GO IN TO THE SHOP OFFICE. EDIT: It gets worse. Part of their high cost was the OEM GM starter they insisted on putting in. Guess what? It was a remanufactured aftermarket starter. THAT'S STRAIGHT FRAUD!

Great value for the price. They were professional, detailed, and did excellent work. Place was very clean not like other shops. Owner Fong was wonderful to work with and knowledgeable. Highly recommend and I’ll definitely be back!

I've been bringing my car to Toufong for years, and I couldn't be happier with the service. Living nearby, I used to compare repair quotes between the dealership and Toufong. Every time, Toufong came in at about half the cost. These days, I skip the comparison altogether and go straight to them—they’ve earned my trust. I’m honestly surprised by some of the negative reviews. Most seem to be related to towing, and I suspect they stem from people dealing with stressful, unexpected situations. It’s easy to misplace frustration in moments like that, but in my experience, Toufong has always been fair and reliable. If you're local, I truly believe there's no better place for automotive work.

I called to get my car towed after a tire went completely flat from driving over a nail. Once it was on the tow truck, I saw that my other tires were embarrassingly (and dangerously) bald. Since their shop was so close by, the owner offered to change my tires there. I really needed my car fixed immediately and all the shops I previously called were full for the day, so I was very relieved. Service was super fast and I'm really grateful for the help!

They were a life saver! I had just left the dealership's shop less than a half a mile away when my car started failing. Luckily, Toufong was right around the corner and my car made it in. The owner was patient and listened to me describe the issues that I was having that led me to take it to the dealership, I explained what the dealership had done and had said still needed to be done. He looked at my car and thoroughly explained what needed to be done and was able to replace my alternator the same day and for literally half the price that the dealership was going to charge me. I will definitely be taking my car here for future service! I feel so blessed to have found them at just the right moment! Thank you for taking such good care of me and my car!

We are snowbirds we came back for the summer. Our truck would not start and it had a super bad mice infestation. They did get a used part which he told us was $90 and he charged the insurance 1200 and he did nothing about the mice. He hung an air freshener and washed the outside of the car and still smells horrible. They are a rip off. We were feeling it all along. before insurance got involved he told us we will get our truck completely detailed and it would be three to $500 and it would be like new. He said a lot of things that weren’t the truth. Beware

Worst tow experience ever. After my vehicle slid into the ditch I requested their service in getting my car out. When the tow truck showed up and got my vehicle out they demanded taking it to their auto shop for repairs and letting insurance take care it. After deciding that I didn't want to use their auto services and I would just drive off with my vehicle as it looked completely fine and drivable and I would work with my insurance later for repairs the tow truck driver had me speak to tou fong to make that decision. After telling tou fong I didn't need their auto services at their shop he got upset and demanded that I pay 700 in cash for just getting my vehicle out. When I told him I didn't have the cash on hand he suggested his tow truck driver drive me to the bank as he would not release my vehicle until I paid him in cash right there. After that I consulted with an actual professional and there was literally nothing to fix other then scratches on the bumper. Becareful using their services...bunch of scammers.

I'm just here to claim my free oil-change coupon. Just kidding! 😂 Needed a tire-replacement service urgently and this place was exceptional! I was calling up so many places all morning and I stumbled upon here with recommendation from a family member. No run around like other places with appointments, fortunately. Deals/costs were exceptionally affordable, which I am always concerned about when it comes to tires. The owner is very generous and easy to talk to. He will get you the best deals and services best suited for you. He was very professional and knowledgeable throughout the whole process. The service was also very fast compared to other places I've been to. The space environment was very clean and comfy! This was my first time here and it won't be my last. I can see myself becoming a regular here already after just one visit! Don't know about others' experience, but I will definitely recommend this place to all the people I know. Thank you!! 😊

Worst Experience Ever - Highway Robbery I called this company during a winter storm when our company vehicle lost control and got stuck in a ditch. The tow driver was friendly and smiley at first, but it was all fake. The company insisted that my insurance should handle the cost, even though I was going to pay this fee out of pocket. The next day, I received an invoice for a staggering $6,000. This felt like straight-up highway robbery, especially with a $900 "cleaning fee" added to the bill. Are they joking? I never agreed to this ridiculous price. I’ll never use this company again and strongly advise others to stay away. They don’t respect your wishes and try to inflate costs wherever possible. Beware of hidden charges and overpricing. DO NOT GO WITH THEM!
