We also wrap and encase piles & if needed encase the piles with new concrete.
If cracks & spalling has just began then we use corrosion inhibiting sealers that penetrate and protect not only the repair area, but also the surrounding concrete from future corrosion due to latent damages.
By sealing & coating the concrete we can significantly slow down and reduce the rate of concrete spalling by protecting the underlying steel reinforcement from corrosion.
