The owner, Shane Freeman, has taken and completed a 4 year Bachelor in Science (BSc.) in Forestry and seperate 2 year Associates Degrees in Applied Science (AASc.) in Urban Forestry, Landscape Design, and Turfgrass Management. In 2002, he successfully completed and still carries the Manitoba Arborist License (#1811). In 2005, he successfully wrote and became an ISA (International Society of Arboriculture) Certified Arborist (#PR-4621A). In 2017, he successfully wrote and became an ISA TRAQ (Tree Risk Assessment Qualification) certified individual. Since the beginning, Total Landscape Solutions was created to provide the highest level of professional services.

Shane and the crew are very professional. Right from the quote to the cleanup. I had a large tree removed from a tight back yard and another tree trimmed.They got it done as promised. Left the yard clean, and charged me what they quoted.

I was introduced to TLS when they took down a diseased elm on my property on behalf of the city. Since they were going to be on the property anyway, I'd asked for a price to take down two other trees in the same yard. They said something like "we'll call you with a price when we're onsite". Since I would be working out of town when they arrived, I took down the car shelter under the two additional trees to make everything nice and easy. They didn't even bother to call. So. . . If you're a private citizen looking to have tree work completed, I'd encourage you to consider other, better reputed tree services. They got two stars instead of one , because at least the work they did on the diseased elm (for the city, a customer they actually cared about), was respectable. As a private note to TLS, thanks for wasting my time. I'm really enjoying reassembling the car shelter.
