More than you’d think.

Both start with a pile of parts that don’t make much sense at first glance.
Both need a plan, a sequence, and a whole lot of patience.
And both can go sideways fast if you skip a step or misplace a piece (don’t ask us how we know).

At Topline Carpenters, we often joke that we’re just grown-up LEGO builders.
But there’s truth in it.

A successful build — whether it’s a reclad, a reno, or a full new home — comes down to systems.
✅ Knowing what goes where.
✅ Understanding how each trade fits in.
✅ Communicating clearly so nothing gets missed.
✅ And keeping calm when things get, well… “creative.”

That’s the part most people don’t see — the behind-the-scenes coordination it takes to bring all the pieces together.

So while we’re not working with tiny bricks and colourful instructions, we are piecing together homes with just as much care and a whole lot more dust.

Because in the end, good building is all about putting the right pieces in the right places — and making sure nothing gets left out.
