It sounds crazy, but it's true! 🤯
When infants' teeth start to erupt, bacteria can be transmitted from a parent to a baby through saliva. (You know, from all those sweet baby kisses! 😘)
We know these natural human habits like kissing your baby, sharing a utensil, or cleaning a pacifier with your own mouth, are normal — and we certainly don't expect you to eliminate them — but there are preventative measures you can take.
🦷 Wipe out your baby's mouth/cheeks, tongue, and gums about as often as you change their diaper to prevent bacteria buildup.
🦷 Stay diligent with your own oral hygiene and healthier eating habits to prevent any cavities from forming and thus causing the spread of bacteria to your child.
