My husband and I discovered Tom and his incredible work ethic (TJH Construction) when he replaced our complicated deck, as a part of a large remodel project under another company. In the middle of winter, he managed to create an amazing deck that exceeded our expectations in “built expertise”. His knowledge and commitment to building correctly, made us confident throughout the project. After moving to a new city, we were lucky that Tom was available to come help us with maintenance repairs in our new home! He was quick to respond to our request and helped us uninstall our defective microwave and install a new one. He worked with our busy schedule and was able to act quickly and efficiently. He also was kind enough to help me by hanging up a painting that I was struggling to do myself out of pure kindness. He’s one of a kind and I could not recommend him more! Very helpful and knowledgeable person.

Great experience Tom was very responsive, on time, provided excellent customer service. His work and knowledge is top notch. I wish I could give more stars. He created a door in our primary bedroom in order for us to access our new deck.

Tom does excellent work! We needed a railing to go to the top of our stairs as our existing one only went up halfway and wanted to convert our closet for hanging clothes into shelves for storage. He showed up with all of the materials got everything. Excellent craftsmanship

Tom and his team did a fantastic job on a difficult job that included removal of a load bearing wall and complex finish trim on a ceiling. They kept the workspace very clean and isolated it from the rest of our living space very effectively. The quality of the work was top notch, and he and his crew were very professional. Whether doing the work himself, his crew or contracting, Tom was personally engaged with every detail and we loved how he was quality-minded. It seems he really enjoys the craft while also having the technical acumin. For us he oversaw trim and soffit repair and gutters, new windows, full house and trim paint and new doors. We also had some challenges with old wood that he met without a lot of drama and came to a price estimate and stuck to it. Apart from quality, I would highly recommend him to anyone who appreciates good communication, accessibility, partnership and a personal touch.
