As you might have seen in the other reviews, our daughter’s car broke down in front of The Wicket pub (oh, the irony) when both, radiator and cooling fan, died and the engine overheated. It turned out to have been the best possible place for that to happen and at the best time. That’s because both, the pub’s owner Nigel, and Jackson, were immediately and immensely helpful in getting my daughter and her friend back on the road, even though it was after midnight. Jackson interrupted his Friday night to offer his help, troubleshot the car and offered to repair it the next day - a Saturday. Unfortunately, the parts he needed weren’t in stock and couldn’t be found nearby.
With Jackson’s careful and excellent instructions, daughter, friend and car made it safely back home - over 440km without the engine overheating a second time even with broken fans.
Jackson is a caring and responsible individual, and I felt my daughter - and our car - were in great hands. And I gladly paid the diagnostic fee, which in light of the situation was more than justified and very affordable.
Based on this certainly unusual experience, I highly recommend Jackson’s service and suggest maybe stopping by The Wicket for your next night out. We certainly will next time we’re in town. 😎
