Cozy & Functional Kids Bedroom 🤍
For this room, the goal was to create a space that feels calm and cozy, but still practical for everyday use.
We kept the base very light and neutral so the room feels bigger and not overwhelming. The curved upholstered headboard was chosen intentionally — it makes the space softer and safer, especially for a kids’ room, without sharp edges.
Textures here play a big role. Instead of adding too many colors, we layered different materials — knitted throw, soft pillows, boucle fabric — to make the bed feel warm and inviting.
The muted green accents add just enough color without making the room feel busy. It’s also a tone that works well long-term, so the space can grow with the child.
We also kept the nightstand simple and functional — soft lighting, a small surface, and open shelving nearby for easy access to books and toys.
✨ Tip: when designing a kids’ room, try to keep the base neutral and add personality through textures and small decor — it’s much easier to update over time as the child grows.
