Our local surveyor is in Stamford this morning - a beautiful market town steeped in history and full of stunning stone architecture.
On his way to the survey, he passed The George Hotel on the Great North Road, located at the foot of St Martins. This remarkable building is thought to be at least 900 years old, and it’s always impressive to see how well these structures have stood the test of time.
