Just as we are waking up, spending more time outside in the warm temperatures – then woodworm want a piece of that also.
March is officially the start of what is known as woodworm flight season.
It is during this time that woodworm larvae near the end of their cycle, turn into beetles and fly out, to find a mate.
It is the flying out of the wood, that leaves the characteristic tiny holes in the wood that they are diagnosed by.
Finding these holes may indicate that you have a woodworm infestation.
