I had a couple of Damp specialists come out to carry out surveys but Andy Clark from Timberwise was the only surveyor who pointed out that the plaster was likely touching the floor causing bridging and allowing damp to rise. When I removed the skirting the plaster was touching the floor like Andy said. From this I felt assured and confident that Timberwise would sort out the damp. I was pleased with the workmanship that was carried out and the service that was provided to me. A special mention to Andy Clark who looked after the damp treatment process, he provided an excellent service.

The team were very supportive through booking the initial survey, after making sure it was necessary. We were able to arrange the work to be completed around timings that suited us. Graham who completed the work was polite, efficient and kept us informed of what he was doing.

Andy (surveyor) was so thorough and methodical, and kept me informed all the way the way through the survey. Extremely pleasant and professional. Although I don't remember the name of the contractor who conducted the damp proofing itself, again all I can say is that he was professional, thorough and just an all round lovely person. We were dreading the upheaval of the works being done. Jan Cresswell turned up on time and at the initial meeting explained the whole process, how long it would take to replace the floor and how the works would be carried out. Communication from the off was clear and any questions were answered honestly. Jan kept mess to a minimum and explained at the end of each done what had been completed and what works were outstanding. I felt confident to leave him undertaking the work in the house and always returned to a clean environment. I would highly recommend all work was completed to a very high standard and we have a new floor! Brilliant job Jan thanks so much .

I asked Timberwise to look at a couple of damp issues in my property. I met Andy Clark and he was excellent. He gave very honest advice about the issues and made a number of predictions about the causes which turned out to be quite accurate. A very helpful visit.

The initial survey was informative and thorough. The work was carried out absolutely fine but it didn’t actually solve the damp in my house. They injected a mortar based product into the bricks which is why our wall is still damp and having to go to another company to do it again.

The lads from Timberwise have done an amazing job at my pub. They quoted and gave me a timescale on the work that needed to be done and they stuck to it and finished the work to such a high standard I really am over the moon! The lads were absolutely spot on as well they made it so the pub could stay open every day they were there and kept it so clean and un intrusive to my customers I couldn't have asked anymore.
