Excellent service, I had the pleasure of working with John who was extremely knowledgeable and prompt to find the right vehicle for my needs and budget with the best possible terms! My car was thoroughly cleaned and freshly serviced with a full tank of gas on pickup, and even ready early! The buying process was very straightforward and John made sure all of the T&C's were clear and again incredibly knowledgeable and transparent through any questions I had along the way. Their inventory does change often though their prices are very competitive and they offer great value on trade-ins! I'd only heard positive things about this place prior to my purchase and would absolutely recommend anyone in the market for a quality used vehicle here! Overall they are the best dealership I've ever worked with, absolutely intend to return for all of my future purchases!

The girl I bought my car from was nice. But I don't think id ever buy another vehicle from this outfit again!. I bought my car from them and my brakes are making a noise. They were supposed to get them changed for me and I have not heard anything! So I ordered them myself and I've been waiting 5 weeks for my license plate. I called twice and the first time they told me it wasnt in yet and the second time I called they said they thought they gave it to me! Not impressed at all!

My parents purchased a vehicle at this location a few months ago they had it inspected at another garage as it didn’t seem right, there is multiple issues with the vehicle they have been given the run around with having it fixed and nothing is being done. Their “30 day” return period they advertise is not legit they will not return or give you another vehicle, my parents wanted their car back and they lied stating someone already paid a deposit when that wasn’t the truth as a day or two later we had a random friend call and inquire about being interested in it and the man stated it was available nearly three months later and their original car is still sitting down there for sale. They haven’t paid off her old car loan yet and she has had two payments coming out even though the man has sent the other payment it is still extremely unprofessional. My parents are elders and were taken for granted and now stuck in a horrible position! I do not recommend anyone purchase a vehicle from these people!!!!!!

Had my car for 7 months then it died. Was not told there was an extended warranty. I tried contacting them for a year for help and they wouldn't return my calls. $12,000 and now it's in a scrap yard from the condition it was in. Their mechanic clearly isn't good at his job.

The Used Car Depot was an amazing experience! I did not think I would be approved, but thought why not, let's try. Not only was I approved for a vehicle, but the rep(Ilonka) was beyond wonderful. I strongly recommend them.

This experience was great! John was very easy to deal with, he found me the right deal and perfect for my budget. I would recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. Will definitely be back to see him when it’s time to upgrade.

This is the second car I've bought from The Used Car Depot. I had a positive first experience, so they were one of the places I checked out when it was time to upgrade. John was very professional, knowledgeable, and never pushy with sales. Set realistic expectations and was honest if he thought something might not be a good fit. He was patient, and we went over options for a few weeks. It didn't seem like we'd find the right option, then at the last minute a car came in that fit all my needs. There were a few very minor things that had to be addressed, but John agreed to take care of them. I have no issue recommending the Used Car Depot. My advice is the same advice for any used car dealership. Take your time, have realistic expectations, ask any questions you have up front, and be polite about it, and chances are they'll be more than happy to help you.

Started off good but now very concerned. Started John picked me up in the car I wanted to buy that day. Was misadvertised about inspection but I let that go. John found a mechanic to look at it because I was traveling the next day. There were issues that needed immediate attention and John paid half of the bill and knocked off 1k from price. Mechanics didn’t fix it completely so I had to pay another 1k to get more repairs done which John said were not needed however I was there when mechanic showed me issues but the worse is I still don’t have the registration to license the car and my temporary license expires on Friday. I keep being told different days, different stories. I’ve relocated to a different province now so not sure what to do or think. How can a dealership sell a car without having registration. Shame on me for doing the transaction but I needed the car right away and thought it was good until issues coming up. Now engine light is on and making some noise. Anyone know how long it takes service New Brunswick to transfer registration and get plates? In response to your note my review is fair and I will put it to 3 if I receive the temporary permit as I STILL wait for registration, spare key and car fax. Getting my registration and license plate IS urgent since I can’t drive the car without it. I didn’t buy the car to sit in driveway. I cannot chance crossing border without registration of car! So YES it’s urgent. As I said in my review, it started off good but not having registration nor plates after two weeks of fake promises is not acceptable and not good business. You said you would send another temporary while it gets sorted out, today is the last day I can drive it. I told you to courier it overnight - no response and nothing received as of yet. Be honest please. And New Brunswick doesn’t even show this VIN being registered

-1000 DON'T DO IT!! Learn from my mistake and do not purchase from this guy. I was in a very difficult situation and needed a vehicle in September. I explained this and he seemed helpful and suggested a Tiguan stating it was in the best shape hes seen come onto the lot however, the engine light came on the day after purchasing. I wanted to take it to VW to be checked and he persuaded me not to and said he would fix it. For a month he had this vehicle more than i did. The engine light did go off for a bit but would keep popping up now and again. Fast forward to the storm and I realize this vehicle does not have all wheel drive. I messaged him twice and he didn't reply until I put up a bad review. He said take it down and then I'll help you. Guess what? I took it down and then got gaslit and no help at all. A friend wrote a review on here about my experience and he wrote that he had VW totally recondition my vehicle. Lol. VW dealer only looked at the rust that was under warranty. I took my vehicle in today and they did a total break down on everything that is wrong with it. He didn't even replace all the coils and spark plugs like he told me he did. So the vehicle needs almost $17000 in repairs. It also shouldn't have passed inspection with the brakes but i let that go at the time as i was too concerned about the engine. The VW dealership was very helpful and good to deal with so dont listen to him on that. Take your business to the dealer or make sure you take the vehicle to the dealer to be checked. He won't do a return in under 30 days either so once you sign your done. Don't let him smooth talk you. He saw an easy target in me and really put me in an extremely bad situation. It's not worth it to take a chance on this guy.

BE AWARE! Do Not Buy! It started off good but quickly became an absolute nightmare. Can never seem to get a hold of John. Always a run around. Went to buy a SUV in September. Vehicle needed trunk pistons for the door to lift which he said he had the parts ordered but received the wrong ones and the correct ones would be in within the week and he would have them put on and he should have our plate. Two weeks go by no word from John I message him about the piston and asked if they could look at the vehicle as I noticed a weird vibration when the vehicle went over 80km. He said he would get the vehicle in right away. One week no word. Two weeks no word. No plates for the vehicle, no pistons and no appointment to address the issues he agreed to have looked at. Call him and he says just got the paperwork stuff needed for the registration and his technician should be able to do the work the following week. No go. Payments were being made since beginning of September vehicle was not registered until November 12. Issues with the vehicle were addressed within two weeks and we were assured they would be looked at and fixed. So much time went by and issues progressively got more noticeable I took it to a licensed mechanic in November and had them do a pre inspection on the vehicle that was just inspected in September because it initially was rejected in august due to suspension and steering issues which on the slip says it was corrected which john guaranteed us the vehicle was fit for the road, which it most certainly was not and was passed anyways to be sold. The mechanic said the vehicle should not have passed inspection and it had worn out parts that would have been in a failing state when the inspection took place which would have been cause for a fail. The mechanic estimated about 3800 worth of stuff needed to be done to have the vehicle road worthy, one of the more serious issue was the driveshaft carrying bearing which is covered under the 1 year power train warranty that cost us $1200. John was notified and denied the vehicle could be in such a state as it had just past inspection. I offered to take it to another 5 licensed mechanics to do pre inspections. He said he needed hire technician and would get us in as soon as he could. It's now almost February he won't return any calls or messages. I was more than willing to work with the guy but my patience is gone. Tired of being fluffed off. The driveshaft is under warranty but he dont seem to concerned people paying $500/mnth need a reliable vehicle and will not fix the issue he is obligated under contract to fix. This guy does not deserve any business. I wish I had of read the reviews before even looking at any of his vehicles. Could have avoided a complete nightmare. Do not buy from this business. Update I am proceeding with legal action against John and as well against the used car depot. If anyone reading this has had similar experiences in the last 24 months I encourage you to consult a lawyer. If you are buying a car please BE AWARE!
