John is awesome. He was able to diagnose and fix my computer issue within a week. Was very fast to responding with email updates on how the process was going. Gave me tips and lots of additional info on how to protect my pc and maintain it in the future. Definitely recommend him and will be going to him for any future tech problems. John is a life saver

John is awesome. Was able to help me save over 1T of info and files for my business. Now having him hook up my house and business with upgraded security system, wifi and backup server.

Probably good with tech, not really good with phone calls. Called to see if they had a specific repair that could be done. Said they couldn’t do it and then hung up before I could say “thanks, goodbye”. No recommendations, not much of a conversation, just blunt answers and abrupt call ending. They get three stars for at least picking up.

The Tech Shop was able to design in a beautiful, powerful desktop PC with top notch communication all the way through! Will be using him again for repairs/upgrades!

John was very helpful and responsive to get my home computer back up and running with all my data transferred and most programs installed even though the hard drive was failing. He also took time to talk with me about ways to make the system more secure and confirm I understood everything I needed to do for next steps. He even addressed my follow-up questions a few days later. I recommend the Tech Shop for your personal computing or business needs.

We have relied on John a couple of times now. He completely fixed our Wi-Fi system. He replaced our old router and modem with something so much better. Then he organized all the stuff for our Wi-Fi system behind our TV. Everything was mounted on the wall and it looks so neat and tidy. Then, I needed a new laptop. Replacing a laptop is something we dread. It takes forever for us to look around and then to get everything up and running on the new laptop. John took care of everything for us. He sold us a laptop at a better price, any set everything up. It was quick. We didn't have to think. It was a huge relief! We think he was very fair in his pricing. He has a good reputation in Columbia. We can see why.

John was very delightful to work with. He was very thorough in his work and explanation to me on the trouble with my computer and what work would best solve my issues. After the repairs were made, he delivered my computer to me and and walked me through how to use the new system he installed. I felt confident of his knowledge level. I will be using them again when needed.

Will leave an in debth review later on, but for now I'll say I'd high recommend this business. John was straight forward, honest, and very knowledgeable. I plan on taking my PC back if I have any issues, and when it's time to upgrade I have full intentions of going back and getting John's assistance.

I first used this business 3 years ago when my computer malfunctioned. John actually made a house call, and I've used them ever since. He was able to retrieve all the information from my old computer, and I purchased a refurbished computer from them for a reasonable price. I also purchased their virus protection program. Being a very "non-techy" person, this service gives me a sense of security I never felt with other virus protection programs. It is also well worth the money knowing that if I have a problem, I can call John to help. He knows his business and is a very nice guy. I highly recommend.
