Just got a tour of this beautiful facility. Smiles on both residents and staff members. What a great place to bring care and community together.

The Suites at Algiers Point offers many events and activities for its residents and sometimes family to participate in. The staff is very cordial, friendly and easy to work with. Love the head nurse because she is very caring and companionate. Susie at the front desk always has a smile to greet everyone with. The apartments are comfortable and quite roomy. The event coordinator always has the place decorated for a holiday or a season. Very cheerful atmosphere.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Suites have been an absolute blessing for our family. Their dedication and care for my aunt have been truly extraordinary. Even though I cannot visit as often as I'd like, they keep me updated through phone calls and texts, ensuring I'm always in the loop. The nurses are phenomenal, especially Nurse Soso, who consistently goes above and beyond to support us in every way possible. My aunt's quality of life has significantly improved since coming here, and I couldn't be more grateful. Thank you to everyone at The Suites for your exceptional service and compassion.

A beautifully renovated building turned into an assisted living and memory care facility. It is very spacious with different areas designed for resident socializing, eating and activities. The decor is bright and cheerful with lots of framed art of New Orleans and Louisiana life. It is welcoming and homey. The staff and caregivers are very professional. Our family member gets the best of care here. The caregivers are aware of her special needs with memory. She is always treated with respect and kindness. Her suite is delightful, open and airy with lots of windows. She can see the ships on the river and daily life in Algiers Pointe.

My mom has been at the Suites since 2016. The nurses and care workers there are second to none. They genuinely care about their residents and treat them as family. I am grateful every day that we chose The Suites for my mom. I can’t imagine our lives without them. Thank y’all so much for everything you do!

My parents moved into their apartment almost two years ago. The staff, facilities and amenities offered by The Suites at Algiers Point have been wonderful. It is comforting to have the memory care unit available for my father to transition into in the future and secure parking for my mother who is still very independent. A wide range of activities for residents of all levels of engagement is offered. The care partners are energetic, caring, and dedicated. Even though I’m just a few blocks away, I am at ease knowing they are looked after and happy.

Over the 5 years mom has lived here, the administration, staff and nurses have been wonderful to her, and to our family. They helped us navigate difficult situations and transitions, always treating us and mom with dignity and compassion. Director of nursing, SoSo, could not be more professional or have a bigger heart.

Living at the Suites has allowed my mother to rest and receive the 24 hour care we could not provide for her living alone at home. We are grateful to the staff who dedicate themselves to the residents. Soso and the nurses are compassionate. The Care Partners do their best to take time and accommodate my mom’s needs. She is happy when Sharita comes in her room. Rachel is also nice. I wish I knew more of the other Care Partners names. Suzy, at the front desk is a welcoming and kind person. She does all the little things to help make my visit pleasant. We owe much thanks to chef Tracy, Tyrell, Brady, Brooke, and all the people who work to make my mom feel cared for!

Do your homework before choosing any assisted living. It looks pretty on the outside BUT for this address, you can read the Louisiana Department of Health inspection/survey reports. Many families ultimately decide home care is the safer route if it’s financially and logistically possible.
